The Static Report Viewer is a powerful sharing tool that allows CloudFix users to distribute detailed cost optimization reports outside of the CloudFix platform, securely and effortlessly. Whether you're preparing for a cost review meeting, seeking stakeholder buy-in, or just need to share a snapshot of an opportunity, this feature makes it easy—no login required.

Why It Matters

CloudFix generates comprehensive, data-rich reports for every recommendation. But what happens when the right person to approve a change doesn't have access to CloudFix?

With Static Report Viewer, you can now create shareable, read-only versions of any recommendation report. Each report is hosted at a unique, secure URL, making it simple to share and impossible to guess.

How It Works

1. Click the Share Icon
   In any detailed report view inside CloudFix, click the new “Share” button.

2. Copy the Generated Link
   CloudFix will create a unique static URL (e.g., https://viewer.app.cloudfix.com/abc123xyz) for that specific report.

3. Send it to Stakeholders
   Share the link via email, messaging, or include it in documentation.

4. View in Clean Mode
   Recipients see a clean, stripped-down report view—just the recommendation and supporting data. No login. No distractions.

What It Includes

• Title and summary of the recommendation
• All relevant metrics, visualizations, and savings data
• Justification and performance analysis
• Cost comparisons
• Disclaimers noting the shared and static nature of the content

Things to Know

• Only people with the exact URL can access the report. There is no directory browsing or index of shared reports.

• The viewer interface is designed for read-only access. No authentication, editing, or platform navigation is available.

• Sensitive data is excluded. Reports are scoped to the recommendation details only.
